So much more than a place to sit: the Adirondack chair is a symbol of summer days on the shores of a lake, ready for sunset watching and conversation.  I like the contrast of the delineated chairs facing the clean colors of sky, water and grass.  Welcoming and comforting, they're packed away for winter now, returning next spring to take their rightful place in seasonal light.
